Diplômé du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, il intègre aussitôt l’Orchestre National Bordeaux-Aquitaine. A seulement 23 ans, il est devient Super Soliste de l’Opéra de Paris, rejoint l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Munich en 2003, puis en 2009 l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France.
Sa carrière de soliste, de chambriste et membre de l’ensemble à vent Paris-Bastille lui offrent l’occasion de jouer dans les salles internationales les plus prestigieuses. Il est invité au Festival de Luzerne, au Spring Séoul Festival, au Wigmore Hall de Londres, au Concertgebouw d’Amsterdam, à Berlin, Moscou, Caracas. Il partage la scène avec Seiji Ozawa, Emmanuel Krivine, Philippe Bernold, Jérôme Pernoo…
A la recherche de nouveaux horizons, il est le dédicataire du Concerto Sacra de Richard Dubugnon, qu’il crée en février 2015 à l’occasion du concert d’ouverture du festival Présence de Radio-France et qui reçoit un succès immédiat, « Olivier Doise est rien moins que phénoménal dans une partie redoutable écrite pour lui sur mesure, qu’il défendait avec une vaillance et un brio exceptionnels... ». Cette oeuvre a été nommée aux 23ème Victoires de la Musique Classique.
En février 2016, il crée la nouvelle sonate pour hautbois et piano d’Alain Louvier « Que la princesse Salomé est belle ce soir… », puis en février 2018, il interprète la première mondiale du concerto pour hautbois »l’Ange Double » de Laurent Cuniot, dirigé par Mikko Frank. « Olivier Doise impressionant » remarque le magazine Classica.
Avec le pianiste Alexandre Tharaud, Il a participé à l’enregistrement de l’intégrale de Francis Poulenc. Le CD qu’il a imaginé et enregistré chez Arion, consacré aux pièces pour
hautbois et airs de cantates de Jean-Sébastien Bach, a été considéré comme évènement exceptionnel par le magazine Télérama.
Avec le chorégraphe Kader Belarbi, il a participé à un spectacle autour de l’oeuvre pour hautbois de B. Britten appelé “Formeries”, créé au Palais Garnier en 2008.
Passionné par l’art de transmettre, il forme de futurs musiciens professionnels au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne-Billancourt, conjointement au Pôle Supérieur de Paris-Boulogne-Billancourt ainsi qu’à l’occasion de master-classes à travers le monde, tel au Domaine Forget, Québec ou El Systema, Vénézuela. Il est invité comme juré aux principaux concours internationaux d’exécution instrumentale.

Graduated from the National Conservatory of Paris, Oliver Doise immediately joins the National Orchestra Bordeaux-Aquitaine. In search of new horizons, he is the dedicatee of the Concerto Sacra by Richard Dubugnon, created in February 2014, an immediate great success : ‘ Olivier Doise is nothing less than phenomenal in a dangerous part custom-made for him, he performs with courage and exceptional brilliance ...’. The piece has been nominated to the French Classical Music Awards. In 2016, Olivier created the new Sonata for Oboe and Piano by Alain Louvier ‘How beautiful is Princess Salome tonight ..’. In febuary 2018, he has performed as world premiere the oboe’s concerto of Laurent Cugnot « l’Ange double » for the Presence of Radio France festival’s opening concert, conducted by Mikko Frank.

With the pianist Alexandre Tharaud, he takes part in recording Francis Poulenc’s complete masterpieces. The CD that came up, recorded by Arion devoted to oboe pieces and cantatas of Johann Sebastian Bach, was considered as exceptional event by Télérama magazine.
With the principal dancer Kader Belarbi, he creates a show around ‘Formeries’ including the different oboe pieces from B.Britten, performed in at Palais Garnier, Paris.
Very enthusiast about teaching and passing on his art, he trains future professional musicians at the Music High School of Boulogne-Billancourt, in cooperation with the Superior Pole Paris- Boulogne-Billancourt and also performs master classes worldwide, in particular in Venezuela, invited by El Systema and at the Domaine Forget, Quebec.
Each summer, he teaches at the international Academy Musicalp in Tignes Olivier Doise plays the Marigaux oboes.
