La pianiste japonaise Norie Takahashi attira l’attention du monde musical en 2005, en emportant le deuxième prix, ainsi que le prix spécial pour la meilleure interprétation d’une œuvre contemporaine au premier Concours International Beethoven à Bonn.
Boursière de la fondation DAAD, Norie Takashi arrive en 2000 à Berlin, où elle étudia avec Prof. Klaus Hellwig à l’Université des Arts. Des « Masterclass » avec Robert Levin, Bruno Leonardo Gelber et Ferenc Rados, ainsi qu’avec Heinrich Schiff (en musique de chambre) furent une grande source d’inspiration. Elle suivit également les cours de Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Aribert Reimann et Axel Bauni, travaillant intensivement le répertoire du Lied romantique et les Lieder du 20ème siècle.
Déjà pendant ses études au Japon, Norie Takahashi enchaina les succès lors de concours internationaux. Elle fut notamment finaliste du concours Reine Elisabeth à Bruxelles et obtint un prix spécial au concours Beethoven de Vienne. Elle gagna également un deuxième prix aux concours Arthur Schnabel à Berlin, le prix Steinway Berlin et un prix spécial au concours international de Leeds. Avec le bariton Peter Schöne, elle emporta le premier prix en catégorie « Liedduo » au concours « Frans Schubert und die Musik der Moderne » à Graz. Elle se produit dans de nombreuses grandes salles de concerts telles que la Philharmonie de Cologne, la Philharmonie de Berlin, la « Beethovenhalle » à Bonn, le « Gasteig » à Munich, la salle de concert « Bahnhof Rolandseck », le Théâtre de La Monnaie à Bruxelles et Suntory-Hall à Tokyo. Elle joua pour de nombreux festivals tels que le « Klavierfestival Ruhr », le « Carinthischen Sommer », les « Mosel-Festwochen », les « Kasseler Musiktage », les « Tages der neue Musik Darmstadt », le « Mannta Festival » en Finlande, le « Al Bustan Festival » au Liban, le « Gimhea Music Festival » et le « Tongyeong Music Festival » en Corée.
Elle fut invitée comme soliste par l’Orchestre Symphonique de la Radio de Prague, l’Orchestre Beethoven de Bonn, l’Orchestre de chambre de Cologne, l’Orchestre National de Belgique, l’Orchestre Symphonique Yomiuri-Nihon, le New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, l’Orchestre Symphonique d’Osaka et joua comme chambriste avec le Quatuor Minguet, les violoncellistes Danjulo Ishizaka, Johannes Moser et Damien Ventula, ainsi qu’avec la violoniste Viviane Hagner. Depuis 2009, Elle forme un duo avec le pianiste Björn Lehmann.
Elle donne des « Masterclass » et enseigne en Allemagne, au Japon et en Corée.
Un enregistrement ‘live’ du 4ème concerto de Beethoven avec l’Orchestre de chambre de Cologne sous la direction de Helmut Müller-Brühl est paru pour la firma NAXOS en 2007. En 2009, la firme Nami-Records publia son deuxième disque, un enregistrement ‘live’ de quatre sonates de Beethoven, dont les critiques furent élogieuses.

In 2005 the Japanese pianist Norie Takahashi made a considerable impression on the music world with her success at the 1st International Beethoven Competition 2005 in Bonn, where she won 2nd prize and a special prize for best interpretation of a contemporary composition. The “General Anzeiger” wrote about her “ the pianist of heart “.
After her studies at the Toho University of Music in Japan Takahashi came to Berlin in 2000 as a DAAD scholarship holder to study under Prof. Klaus Hellwig at the University of the Arts at Berlin.
Apart from this, she has received important musical stimuli in master’s course under Robert Levin, Bruno Leonardo Gelber, Ferenc Rados, Vitaly Margulis, Michail Voskressenski and Heinrich Schiff (chamber music ) etc...
At the time of her studies in Japan she had already celebrated several international successes: She received the finalist diploma at the Queen Elizabeth Music Competition in Brussels and the special prize at the Beethoven Competition in Vienna.
Furthermore she received 2nd prize at the Berlin Artur Schnabel Competition, the Steinway Prize Berlin and the special prize of the Leeds International Piano Competition. In 2003 she won 1st prize in song duet with baritone Peter Schoene and the audience prize at the International Competition “Franz Schubert and Contemporary Music” in Graz.
Norie Takahashi has given concerts not only in Japan and Germany, but also in Belgium, Holland, Italy, France, Austria, Turkey, Lebanon and Korea.
Moreover, her concerts have been heard in some of the most important concert halls, e.g. in the Cologne Philharmonic Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, the Beethoven Hall in Bonn, the Bahnhof Rolandseck Concert Hall, in the Theatre de la Monnaie in Brussels, the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, the Suntry Hall, the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater, the Kioi Hall in Tokyo and the Symphony Hall in Osaka.
She has been invited to numerous international music festivals: She performed at the “Piano Festival Ruhr“, the ”Carinthischen Sommer”, the “Mosel Festival”, the “Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival” ,the “Mannta Festival “ ,the “Tongyeong Music Festival (Korea)”, and the “ Gimhae Music Festival ( Korea ) “etc...
Besides the above-mentioned concerts, she has performed with the Beethoven Orchestra (Bonn), the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Filharmonia Pomorska, the Taegu Gala Orchestra, the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra,the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra.
Takahashi is also active as a chamber musician. She has worked with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Aribert Reimann and Axel Bauni and has also dealt intensively with contemporary song as well as the great romantic repertory.
Also she played with the Minguet Quartett, cellists Danjulo Ishizaka, Johannes Moser and Damien Ventula and the violinist Viviane Hagner etc...
In 2009 she started playing in a Piano duo with the pianist Björn Lehmann.
Since 2009 give she several master classes and private lessons in Germany, Japan and Korea.
Takahashi has made several radio recordings at NDR (North German Broadcasting Co.), WDR (West German Broadcasting Co.), ORF (Austrian Broadcasting Co.), RBB ( Berlin-Brandenburg Broadcasting Co.) and NHK ( Japanese Broadcasting Co.).
A live CD of her recital in Tokyo in 2003 has been published at the label Accustic.
In 2007 a live CD of Beethoven’s Concerto Nr. 4 with the Cologne Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Helmut Mueller-Bruehl has published at NAXOS, In 2009 a live CD of four Beethoven Sonatas has published at Nami-Records.

Im Jahre 2005 machte die japanische Pianistin Norie Takahashi die Musikwelt durch ihren Erfolg beim 1. Internationalen Beethoven-Wettbewerb in Bonn auf sich aufmerksam, wo sie den 2.Preis und den Sonderpreis für die beste Interpretation eines zeitgenössischen Werkes erhielt.
Im Jahre 2000 kam Takahashi nach Berlin als DAAD-Stipendiatin, um an der Universität der Künste Berlin bei Prof. Klaus Hellwig zu studieren.Daneben erhielt sie wichtige künstlerische Anregungen in Meisterkursen u.a. bei Robert Levin, Bruno Leonardo Gelber und Ferenc Rados sowie (im Bereich Kammermusik) bei Heinrich Schiff. Außerdem hat sie mit Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Aribert Reimann und Axel Bauni gearbeitet und sich neben dem romantischen Liedrepertoire intensiv mit dem Lied des 20. Jahrhunderts befaßt.
Bereits während ihres Studiums in Japan hatte sie mehrere internationale Erfolge: So erhielt sie das Finalisten-Diplom beim Königin-Elisabeth-Musikwettbewerb　in Brüssel und einen Sonderpreis beim Beethoven-Wettbewerb in Wien. Außerdem erhielt sie den 2. Preis beim Berliner Artur-Schnabel-Wettbewerb, den Steinway-Preis Berlin und den Sonderpreis des Leeds International Piano Competition. Gemeinsam mit dem Bariton Peter Schöne gewann sie in der Kategorie Liedduo den 1. Preis beim Wettbewerb “Franz Schubert und die Musik der Moderne” in Graz.
Sie war bereits u.a. in der Kölner Philharmonie, der Berliner Philharmonie, der Beethovenhalle Bonn, im Gasteig München, dem Konzertsaal Bahnhof Rolandseck, im Theatre de la Monnaie Brüssel, in der Suntory-Hall Tokyo zu hören.Außerdem spielte sie bei zahlreichen Musikfestivals, so beim ”Klavierfestival Ruhr”, dem ”Carinthischen Sommer”, den “Mosel-Festwochen”, den „Kasseler Musiktagen“,dem „Tage fuer neue Musik Darmstadt“,dem ”Mannta Festival (Finnland)”, dem ”Al Bustan Festival (Libanon)”,dem „Gimhae Musik Festival“ (Korea), und dem “Tongyeong Musik Festival (Korea)”.
Sie konzertierte u.a. mit dem Radio-Symphonie Orchester Prag, dem Beethoven-Orchester Bonn, dem Kölner Kammerorchester, dem Belgian National Orchester, dem Yomiuri-Nihon-Symphonie-Orchester, dem New Japan Philhamonic Orchester,den Osaka Symphonikern, als Kammermusikerin u.a. mit dem Minguet-Quartett und den Cellisten Danjulo Ishizaka, Johannes Moser und Damien Ventula sowie der Geigerin Viviane Hagner. Mit dem Pianisten Björn Lehmann spielt sie seit dem Jahr 2009 im festen Klavierduo.
Außerdem gab sie Meisterkurse und Unterrichte in Deutschland, Japan und Korea.
2007 ist eine Live-CD mit dem Kölner Kammerorchester unter der Leitung von Helmut Müller-Brühl mit dem 4. Konzert von Beethoven bei NAXOS erschienen, 2009 wurde in Japan eine Live-CD mit vier Beethoven-Sonaten bei Nami-Records veröffentlicht, die in Musikzeitschriften sehr positiv besprochen wurde.

仙台市に生まれ、桐朋学園大学を経て、ＤＡＡＤ奨学生としてベルリン芸術大学、同大学院を修了。現在、ベルリンを拠点にヨーロッパ各地および日本において活発な演奏活動を行うほか、公開レッスン、マスタークラスなどで後進の指導にもあたっている。
高校在学中に園田高弘賞コンクール第４位、日本音楽コンクール第２位、また大学在学中もベートーヴェン国際コンクール入賞、エリザベート王妃国際コンクールファイナリストなど多数の賞を受賞。
渡独後には、アルトゥール･シュナーベル国際コンクール、ベートーヴェン国際コンクールなどで上位入賞、リーズ国際コンクール特別賞、ベルリン・スタインウェイ賞受賞。２００５年に第１回ボン国際ベートーヴェンコンクールで第２位、および２１世紀音楽解釈特別賞を受賞し、注目を集める。ゲネラル・アンツァイガー紙上にて“心のピアニスト”と絶賛される。
これまでに、ドイツ、オーストリア、オランダ、ベルギー、イタリア、フランス、チェコ、フィンランドなどヨーロッパ各地、その他トルコ、レバノン、韓国などで演奏。また、ルール･ピアノ･フェスティヴァル、モーゼル国際音楽祭、カッセル音楽祭、ケルンテンの夏音楽祭、ダルムシュタット現代音楽週間、マンタ音楽祭(フィンランド)、アル･ブスタン・フェスティヴァル（レバノン）、トンヨン国際音楽祭（韓国）、ギムヘ国際音楽祭（韓国）など様々な音楽祭に招かれている。
オーケストラとの共演も多く、ボン・べート－ヴェンオーケストラ、プラハ放送交響楽団、ベルギー・ナショナル・オーケストラ、ケルン室内オーケストラ、テグ･ガラ・オーケストラなどと共演。
日本においては、日本ショパン協会主催リサイタル、紀尾井ホールニューアーティストシリーズリサイタルなどへの出演のほか、読売日本交響楽団、新日本フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、九州交響楽団、仙台フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、大阪シンフォニカーなどと共演している。
室内楽、歌曲ピアニストとしても活躍しており、ミンゲートクヮルテット、チェリストの石坂団十郎氏、ヨハネス・モーザー氏、ヴァイオリニストのヴィヴィアン・ハーグナー氏、横山奈加子氏などと共演。特にモーザー氏との演奏会の模様はNHK－FM、NHK-BSハイヴィジョンにて再三放映されており、2012年同氏と２回目の日本ツアーを行った。歌曲分野ではＡ．バウニ、Ａ．ライマン各氏に現代歌曲を中心に師事、Ｄ．フィッシャー・ディスカウ氏のもとでも研鑽を積んだ。２００３年にはペーター･シェーネ（バリトン）と組んだリート(歌曲)デュオで“Ｆ．シューベルトと現代音楽”国際コンクール優勝、合わせて聴衆賞受賞。数多くの演奏会に招かれると共に、ＮＤＲ（北ドイツ放送）の委嘱作品の初演も行い、ＮＤＲにて放送された。
2008年にはワイマールにて若手実力派ピアニスト、ティル・フェルナー氏の代役としてリサイタルを行い、“並外れた才能との出会い”と賞賛を浴びる。
また、フィンランド、ドイツにおいてジェフスキー作曲の難曲、“不屈の民”変奏曲を演奏、現代音楽の解釈者としても高い評価を得る。
2011年2月には、“ダルムシュタット現代音楽週間”にてＫ．Ｗ．クルツ氏より献呈されたピアノソナタをオープニングコンサートで初演。2012年は東京でアルミンク氏の指揮で新日本フィルとの再共演、仙台フィルハーモニー管弦楽団との再共演を行い、いずれも好評を博した。
また、ピアニストのビヨルン・レーマン氏と結成したピアノデュオでの活動も活発に行い、ベルリン、ダルムシュタット、ボーデンゼーなどドイツ各地でのコンサートが予定されている。
これまで加藤伸佳、クラウス･ヘルヴィヒの各氏に師事、また故園田高弘、Ｒ．レヴィン、Ｂ．Ｌ．ゲルバー、Ｆ．ラドシュ、Ｋ．エンゲル、H.シフ(室内楽)諸氏などのマスタークラスにて研鑽を積む。
ＣＤはＮＡＸＯＳレーベルのベートーヴェンピアノ協奏曲第４番のほか、２００３年の東京デビューリサイタル・ライヴがアクスティカレーベルより発売されている。2009年夏、東京での“ベートーヴェン・ソナタの夕べ”のライヴ録音をナミ・レコードよりリリース、”音楽の友“、”ムジカノーヴァ“など主要音楽誌全てにおいて好評を博し、日本経済新聞紙上でも高い評価を得た。
